Traci Tauferner,

Traci Tauferner is the Director of Industrial & Tactical Medicine at Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. Traci collaborates with tactical communities, industry, and municipalities to design and implement preventative and reactive care for employees.

As a 20-year educator and service innovator, she is an advocate for proactive approaches to maintain workforce health and safety. 

Recognized internationally by the tactical community for her work with law enforcement, paramedics, and firefighters, especially in Fit-for-Duty Testing.

Traci is a veteran of the Wisconsin National Guard and recipient of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Award, an elite award for non-commissioned officers whose leadership and performance merit special recognition.

She is a Licensed Athletic Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Modern Cupping Therapy Practitioner. She is certified in Mental Health First Aid, Peer Support, Crisis Intervention, Trauma Informed Weight Lifting, Yoga 500 hours, Job Analysis, Industrial/Officer Ergonomics, Functional Movement Systems, and various manual therapies.
