Ron Lawrence

PT, MSPT, CSCS

Ron received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with Fitness Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2004 and later a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2006 from the same institution. Throughout his graduate career, Ron has taken a specific interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, and research in physical therapy. Ron was awarded the UW-LaCrosse Physical Therapy Graduate Achievement Award for his research in hip strengthening and landing mechanics of female athletes. He also completed a research internship at Steadman-Hawkins Sports Medicine Foundation during the fall of 2006. Ron is a member of the Wisconsin and American Physical Therapy Associations. He has advanced certifications in Dry Needling and Nutrition.

He was a member of the United States Development Ski Team at Vail Ski Academy and was an Athlete Representative for US Skiing from 2002-2004. In 2004, he earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification. Ron is currently Director of Alpine Program and Assistance Head Coach for Granite Peak Ski Team in Wausau, WI. His hobbies include hunting/fishing, camping/hiking with wife and two daughters, skiing, paddleboarding, and trail running.
