Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine remains committed to serving our community through the COVID-19 pandemic and has developed a program to help our community through the recovery of the aftereffects of the virus. Many complications to COVID-19 arise post-recovery, including impaired lung gas exchange, cardiovascular impairments, and loss of lower extremity strength due to decreased activity secondary to the virus. As part of this program, a specially trained physical therapist, educated in COVID-19 complications and deficits, will create and implement an individualized treatment plan for the unique needs of each patient.
