Rob Worth, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC, LAT
Rob received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 1992, double majoring in Physical Therapy and Psychology. He completed his athletic training certification in 1995 through Lawrence University and obtained national board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 1997. He is certified in manual therapy and received an advanced Masters of Science degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and received his doctorate in physical therapy from Massachusetts General Institute of Health Professions.
Rob's clinical background is in the area of orthopedics/sports medicine with special interest in the rehabilitation of shoulder, knee, spine and TMJ dysfunction. A frequent speaker at conferences and universities, he is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has previously served as a president of the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. He has received the WPTA Outstanding Service Award and is also the recipient of honorable mention for the Physical Therapist of the Year Award.
In his spare time Rob enjoys international mission work, volunteering at the local Free Clinic, competing in running/triathlon events and spending time with his wife and two boys. Rob sees patients at the Appleton North location.
Jean Darling, PT, DPT, LAT
Jean received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin in 1989. She completed her athletic training certification while working with the Wisconsin Badger Football Team. Jean is a member of the United States Olympic Sports Medicine Committee and participates in national coverage of sporting competitions. She is also a certified group fitness instructor with the American Council on Exercise, Personal Trainer and Certified Pilates Instructor. Jean's clinical background is in the area of orthopedics/sports medicine, rehabilitation of the knee, shoulder and foot dysfunctions. She holds a certification in Lymphedema management and has special interests in women's health issues which include treatment of incontinence, pre-natal/post-partum, post mastectomy, osteoporosis, and fibromyalgia. She has taught at conferences and universities on various sports medicines and women's health issues. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
In her spare time, Jean enjoys any physical activity, sporting events, and spending time with her family.
Katie Abbott, PTA, BS, LMT
Kaiti received her Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University in 2011, in Health and Human Sciences and minored in Interdisciplinary Studies in Kinesiology. In 2013, she graduated from Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. For her first two years, she was at trauma hospital in Springfield, Illinois working primarily in the ICU, orthopedic floor, cardiopulmonary floor, burn unit, and their intensive rehab floor. This setting really expanded her problem solving and critical thinking skills when it came to overcoming patient barriers and limitations. Kaiti is originally from the Chicagoland area but is very happy that life brought her to the Appleton area in 2015, and decided that was the time to pursue her interest in Massage Therapy and graduated in 2016 from Fox Valley Technical College. Kaiti believes exercise and activity is one of the best forms of medicine and loves educating her patients on this concept to attain their goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle. In her spare time, she enjoys running, yoga, lifting, tennis, softball, aerial exercise, cooking, watching sports, watching documentaries, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Kaiti is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Massage Therapy Association and sees patients at the Recovery Inn and the Appleton North clinic.
Russ Bartholomew, PT, DPT, OCS
Russ is a 1990 graduate from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. He was board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2012. And completed his DPT in 2015 ( yes at nearly 50 years of age !) Russ is proud to be a mentor for the University of Wisconsin Orthopedic Residency program and also teaches continuing education courses on foot and ankle biomechanics, diagnosis and treatment.
He has presented numerous community programs on running shoe selection, diabetes and proper shoe selection, golf shoe recommendations and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Russ has been nominated for the “Therapist of the Year” award by the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association two times and received the Honorable Mention in 2002. Russ enjoys fishing, the outdoors and is an avid high school sports fan and you may see him on any given Friday night at the field or courtside. He is the proud father of two adult sons currently completing their college educations.
Lara Bleck, PT, MDT
Lara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998. Lara completed post graduate work in spine care, shoulder/knee rehabilitation, biomechanics, and lymphedema management. In the spring of 2006, Lara obtained certification in mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT) of the spine from the McKenzie Institute. She also holds a certification in lymphedema management and has special interest in oncology rehabilitation. Lara is a member of the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, including the oncology section. She enjoys hiking/biking with her husband and two sons, traveling, and watching Badger sports. In 2015 she developed the oncology rehab program at APTSM.
PJ Christopherson, PT, DPT
PJ graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sports Science in 2013 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. He completed an internship in physical therapy with the Milwaukee Brewers and has developed a passion for working with overhead athletes. PJ has attended additional training with a certification to provide trigger point dry needling, and is also a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. He enjoys helping people improve their quality of life functioning as a primary provider of orthopedic care.
In his spare time, PJ enjoys outdoor recreation, exercising, athletics, and vintage motorcycles. Being born and raised in Wisconsin, he naturally loves his Packers, Brewers, and Badgers above all else!
PJ sees patients primarily at the Ripon location.
Luke Gauthier, PT, DPT
Luke graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where in 2013 he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Luke enjoys working with individuals of all ages and has a strong interest in manual therapy and working with the orthopedic population.
Luke is a native of Crivitz and is very excited to be back in the surrounding area. Luke enjoys exercising, outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting and is an avid sports fan. He is currently seeing patients at the Wellness Clinic, in Marinette
Danielle Gerarden, PTA
Danielle graduated with her associates degree as a Massage Therapist in 2016 from NWTC in Green Bay. She went on to graduate with her associates degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2017 from NWTC as well. She specializes in prenatal massage cupping therapy, Thai massage, and is certified in the LSVT program. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapists and American Massage Therapy Associations. In her spare time Danielle enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and hanging out with friends and family. She sees patients at The Wellness Clinic location in Marinette.
Cheryl Gess, PT, CLT
Cheryl graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a minor in corporate and community fitness from Mankato State University. She graduated in 1990 from the Mayo Clinic Physical Therapy Program. Cheryl has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. In 2008 she began her specialization of Lymphedema and Oncology Physical Therapy. She is Advanced certified in Leduc Lymphedema Management. She has special interest and training in treatment of breast, lung, and head/neck cancer as well as cancer related fatigue.
Cheryl has worked in a variety of clinical settings including hospital acute care, wound care, cardiac rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, nursing and home care and the past 13 years in an orthopedic outpatient clinic. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association-Oncology Section, Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association, and the National Lymphedema Network.
In her free time she enjoys family time, volunteer work, travel, going for walks, and attending fine arts performances.
Will Hartmann PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Will received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2009, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following completion of physical therapy school, he went on to complete an Orthopedic Residency to further progress his manual skills and meet a wider variety of patient’s needs. Will is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist with an enthusiasm for sports, which he developed while participating in football at UW-Madison. Whether it is the young athlete, or the general orthopedic patient, Will enjoys working with individuals across the entire life span that are looking to improve their current functional status, and accomplish their goals.
He is a native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends whenever possible. In his free time he likes to get outdoors hunting/fishing, and also enjoys biking, running, and other recreational sports this area has to offer.
Kylie Heinz, PTA
"Kylie received her Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2013 from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay. She spent her first two years treating in a skilled nursing facility with both short-term and long-term care. She provided treatments for patients with orthopedic and neurological disorders.
From there, she joined the Advanced Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine team and has treated in both outpatient and inpatient (Recovery Inn) facilities. In 2015, she obtained her certification in lymphedema management (CLT).
In her free time, Kylie spends most of her time with husband and two kids. She enjoys fishing, hiking, collecting/cooking maple sap, and spending time outdoors. She is an active member of the APTA. Kylie primarily sees patients at the Recovery Inn.
Kelsey Hinkley, PT, DPT
Kelsey received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Biomedical Science concentration in 2011, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014, from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Kelsey enjoys working with all patient populations and age ranges in order to be a well-versed, generalized physical therapist. Kelsey is originally from the Fox Valley and is excited to have returned to the area. She has a passion for volunteering and cannot wait to become more involved in such a wonderful community. In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with friends and family, boating, hiking, and biking.
Craig Hoffman, PTA, BS
Craig graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Clinical Science. He went on to graduate from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). In addition to his degrees, Craig comes to APTSM with 7 years experience as a personal trainer.
In his spare time, Craig enjoys weightlifting, cycling, hiking and fishing. Craig sees patients in clinic at Appleton North.
Christopher Hupf, PT, DPT
Chris graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sports Science in 2015, and Concordia University where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018.
Chris has attended additional training with a certification to provide trigger point dry needling, and is also a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. He has experience treating a wide spectrum of orthopedic and sports injuries, as well as balance/vertigo, and neurological conditions. In his spare time,
Chris enjoys hunting, golf, and weightlifting. He also enjoys keeping up with Wisconsin collegiate and professional sports.
Jeff Jeter, PT, LAT
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Nebraska where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Education and concurrently earned his athletic training certification. Jeff then earned his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Since graduating, Jeff has worked in the Fox Valley area in a variety of settings including, in-patient, home health and outpatient physical therapy. Jeff specializes in the area of outpatient orthopedics. Jeff is a member of both the state and national physical therapy and athletic training organizations.
Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoys running, biking, swimming and cross country skiing. Jeff treats patients at the Appleton North office.
Laura Johnson, PT, DPT
Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 2010 from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013 from Carroll University. She previously worked in the skilled nursing facility setting, focusing on individuals with orthopedic and neurological disorders. She has a special interest in helping individuals regain their functional lifestyle after a joint replacement. Laura is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, playing tennis, cheering on the Packers, and spending time with her husband and daughter. Laura sees patients at the Recovery Inn as well as at the Appleton North location.
Dennis Kaster, PT, OCS
Dennis graduated from UW-Lacrosse in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. In 2008 he received his American Physical Therapy Association; Orthopedic Certified Specialist designation. He has a great deal of experience in the areas of spine, chronic pain, hand injuries, sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation and various manual therapies. He is extremely active within the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. He sees patients at the Stevens Point North location He has been happily married for almost 30 years, to his wife Adrienne, with whom he has 4 children. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, scuba diving, motorcycling, biking and hiking.
Jason Koenigs, PT, MSPT
Jason graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002 with his Master of Physical Therapy degree. He has over 12 years experience in orthopedic physical therapy and has worked in diverse settings such as hospital based outpatient, inpatient therapy, rural care, skilled nursing facilities, private practice, home health, and hospital management. Jason specializes in manual manipulation of the spine, vestibular therapy, and work injuries. Outside of work Jason enjoys coaching 8th grade football, hunting, fishing, skiing, exercising, and spending time with family. He sees patients at the Wellness Clinic location of APTSM, in Marinette.
Ron Lawrence, PT, MSPT, CSCS
Ron received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with Fitness Emphasis from University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2004 and later a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2006 from the same institution. Throughout his graduate career, Ron has taken specific interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, and research in physical therapy. Ron was awarded the UW-LaCrosse Physical Therapy Graduate Achievement Award for his research in hip strengthening and landing mechanics of female athletes. He also completed a research internship at Steadman-Hawkins Sports Medicine Foundation during the fall of 2006. Ron is a member of the Wisconsin and American Physical Therapy Associations.
He was a member of the United States Development Ski Team at Vail Ski Academy and was an Athlete Representative for US Skiing from 2002-2004. In 2004, he earned his CSCS. Ron is currently Head FIS Coach and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Team Norway, an alpine ski team in Norway, Michigan. His hobbies include fishing, skiing, and weight lifting. Ron sees patients at the Shawano location.
Amber Lisowe, PT, DPT
Amber graduated from Lawrence University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University in 2017. She enjoys working with all patients, with a special interest in treating conditions of the shoulder and knee. In her free time, Amber enjoys playing soccer and basketball, camping, and hiking.
Cary Luitjens, PT, MPT, LAT
Cary is a Licensed Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer. She is originally from Iowa and attended South Dakota State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Arts and Science and minor in Athletic Training. In 1988 she graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She later earned a Master of Health Science degree in Physical Therapy from University of Indianapolis. While practicing orthopedic physical therapy, Cary was also an athletic trainer for Little Chute High School for 12 years. Cary has an interest in evaluation and treatment of disorders of the shoulder, knee, and ankle and foot. She also enjoys golfer rehabilitation and orthotics. Cary is a member of both state and national physical therapy and athletic training organizations.
In her free time, Cary enjoys spending time with her husband and two children boating, water skiing, and traveling up north.
Katey Miller, PT, DPT
Kate Miller receieved her bachelors degree in zoology with an emphasis in neurobiology from UW Madison and a doctorate in PT from Marquette.
As a physical therapist, Kate works with patients of all ages to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities after suffering an injury or disease. She helps patients restore or maintain overall fitness and health. Kate has a special interest in conditions of the spine, as well as youth athletes. Kate said a deep trusting relationship between patients and their physical therapist is important to help patients achieve their ultimate goals. She is a certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist through Myopain Seminars and performs Dry Needling.
When Kate isn't busy working long days seeing patients, she enjoys cheering loudly for her children at sporting events, cheer competitions, and music recitals. Her kids are just AWESOME! Kate also enjoys spending time with her husband who has made her the same lunch for years. Kate is the outdoorsy sort who loves to spend time up-north in Wisconsin.
Lauren Moeller, PTA
Lauren holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology with Exercise Science Emphasis from the UW-Green Bay. She went on to graduate from the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Besides being a PTA, Lauren is a certified Silver Sneakers Instructor and leads the Parkinson’s exercise class at Total Fitness Health Club in Shawano; helping clients expand their wellness journey by staying active. Away from work she enjoys time with her husband and dog, crafting, gardening, fishing, and traveling.
Lauren is a member of the Wisconsin and American Physical Therapy Associations. Currently Lauren sees patients at the Shawano location.
Jamie Mursau, PTA
Jamie is a licensed PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) and certified Personal Trainer. She graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2006. After graduation, Jamie became a certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in 2008. She is also certified in Functional Movement Screening and the BIG Parkinson’s program. Her primary focus as a PTA is to work with rehabilitating outpatient clients. This experience has given her the opportunity to focus on personal training and rehabilitation while employing resistance training, conditioning techniques, strengthening and stretching exercises.
She promotes a healthy lifestyle by encouraging diet, exercise, and motivation in your everyday activities. During the summer months, Jamie spends most of her free time water skiing and supporting her home town ski team. She competes with swivel skiing and barefooting. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding, shopping and spending time with her 2 young children Quinton and Paige.
Samantha Newhouse, PT, DPT
Samantha received her Bachelor of Science in Education with a Health and Human Performance emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2014, where she was also a member of the Warhawk Womens’ Basketball team. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Samantha enjoys working with all patient populations, and has clinical interests in general orthopedics and sports medicine.
In her spare time, Samantha likes to workout, travel, and spend time with friends and family. A true Wisconsin girl, Samantha is also a HUGE Packer and Badger fan.
Chris O'Connell, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC
Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December of 2005. He then attended University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse where he earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May 2009. Chris is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the orthopedic section as well as the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. Chris holds a certification in manual therapy as well. Chris has a passion for seeing orthopedic patients of all types, especially those with shoulder and knee disorders.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and children as well as cycling. Chris sees patients at the Appleton North clinic.
Cory Peed, PT, OCS
Cory is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison professional program in Physical Therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1995. Cory has completed post graduate work in the areas of applied kinematics, functional testing and training, rehabilitation of the golfer, and athletic performance enhancement. In the spring of 2005, he obtained national board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. His clinical practice has been exclusively outpatient orthopedics with an interest in treating disorders of the ankle/foot, knee and shoulder. Cory is a member of the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, including the sections of orthopedics and sports physical therapy. Besides spending time with his wife and three children,
Cory enjoys the game of golf and is an avid Wisconsin sports fan. He treats patients at the Dousman Clinic location in Green Bay. He also sees patients at Appleton North.
David Reybrock, PT, MSPT
David is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While attending UW-La Crosse, David competed in both cross country and track. He continued his higher learning at Carroll University where he received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1999. David is a current member of the American and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Associations. For the past ten years, David has worked in an outpatient critical access hospital providing physical therapy to individuals with orthopedic and neurological disorders. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal disorders of the spine, knee, and shoulder. David has attended continuing education courses with an emphasis on manual therapy, sports performance, and rehabilitation of the knee and shoulder.
David originates from Little Chute, WI and currently lives in Fremont, WI with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys running, going up north with his family, watching and participating in sporting events, coaching youth sports, and working outdoors.
Bill Rein, PT, MSPT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT
Bill received his master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005 and earned his Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2009. Bill has also attained his manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists and earned the title of Certified Orthopedic Manual/Manipulative Therapist (COMT). He is currently a certified ASTYM (augmented soft tissue mobilization) provider, was recently certified in Trigger Point Dry needling (CMTPT) thru Myopain Seminars, and is also Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His professional interests involve seeing patients who have shoulder, knee and spinal issues. Bill is an active member of the APTA, WPTA, and has recently become a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists (AAOMPT).
In his spare time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and watching and participating in sports. Bill currently sees patients at the Appleton West clinic.
Mark Schmitz, PT
Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1988 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since graduation he has worked with a wide variety of patients including those with neurological conditions, biomechanical issues, and orthopedic concerns. The past nine years have been spent providing on-site injury assessment and management services, ergonomic consultation, and employee education and training for multiple businesses in the Fox Valley area. Mark’s current interests include enhancing the relationship between medical providers and companies to facilitate the successful return to work for all injured workers.
Away from work Mark enjoys canoe camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and skiing with his wife and two children. He also remains a huge fan of Badger athletics!
Jarrod Schuh, PT, DPT
Jarrod graduated from Saint Louis University in Missouri, where in 2015 he received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Doctorate of Physical therapy in 2017. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Jarrod enjoys working with individuals of all ages in order to achieve their personal life goals and has found a passion working with the industrial and orthopedic population.
Jarrod grew up in Kimberly and is very excited to be back in the Fox Valley. Jarrod enjoys outdoor activities such as running, fishing, and is an avid sports fan. He is currently seeing patients at the Appleton North clinic and at the Recovery Inn.
Stephanie Schumacher, PTA
Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science from William Woods University in 2014, in Equestrian Science with a concentration in Equine Assisted Therapies, which was inspired by her ten years of volunteer experience at multiple equine therapeutic facilities that provided therapy services to children and families living with behavioral and physical disabilities. In 2016, she made the decision to pursue her interest in additional methods of therapy and graduated from State Technical College of Missouri with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Stephanie cherishes her background in equine science and practices as an equine sports massage therapist in addition to splitting her time as a PTA treating patients at Recovery Inn and working in industry educating new hires how to perform their jobs with correct body mechanics and encourage healthy life styles through nutrition and exercise. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, volunteering at animal shelters, horseback riding, kayaking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Cortany Shearer, PTA, BS
Cortany is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a certified Personal Trainer. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and an Associate of Applied Science Degree as a PTA from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. With Cortany’s prior professional and personal experiences, she is able to provide a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the realm of rehabilitation care.
Away from work, Cortany enjoys spending time with her family and friends, participating in recreational sports, and enjoying the outdoors.
Dean Sondrol, PT
Dean earned his Physical Therapy degree at the University of Minnesota in 1986. He has worked in various settings in Wisconsin, Colorado, Arizona and Minnesota increasing his experience and knowledge as a Physical Therapist. He has spent the last 20+ years providing care as a Physical Therapist in the Waupaca Community. He has received additional training in manual therapy for the spine and extremities,dry needling, and orthopedic/sports medicine and strives to continually pursue additional skills to better assist his patients. He enjoys working with patients at all age levels and abilities to help improve their quality of life and improve their function so they can can continue to enjoy the wonderful areas around Waupaca and Wisconsin. Dean is looking forward to continue to provide quality physical therapy in the Waupaca Community.
Dean is active in the Waupaca community through the local Triathlon board, scouts, his church, and other organizations. He enjoys spending time with his children, cheering them on during all of their activities. You'll find him running with his dog and biking around town or at the trails at Hartman Creek.
Phil Sorensen, PT, CSCS
Phil is a graduate of Physical Therapy from The University of Michigan (Flint,1987) and has completed extensive post-graduate education in upper and lower extremity evaluation/treatment, core training progressions, gait-running analysis, and manual spine treatment. He has completed post graduate training and certification for Trigger Point Dry Needling through Kineticore. Functional Movement Screen certified and Selective Functional Movement Assessment trained through Functional Movement Systems. Phil has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS through The National Strength and Conditioning Association.) since 2001 to improve athletic performance and transition people of all abilities from rehab back to sport or life. Certified as a Pilates Instructor through Polestar Education with an emphasis in rehabilitation in 2002. He is an active member of both the American and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Associations and the Performing Arts Special Interest Group and the Orthopedic Section of the APTA. He works with traveling performers at the Performing Art Center (Appleton). The last 6 years he has worked with the Lawrence University Music Conservatory screening and treating musicians on and off-site.
In addition to spending time with his wife, two daughters and son, he also enjoys being involved with training & coaching youth, any outdoor sports- especially fly fishing, hunting, canoe-kayaking, and x-country skiing. Phil sees patients in the Appleton East clinic.
Pamela St. Clair, PT
Pam graduated from Western Michigan University in 1989 and in 1991 from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. Her clinical experience has been exclusively in outpatient orthopedics in the areas of occupational medicine, prevention management, general outpatient orthopedics and most recently in a manually-based spine care setting. Pam has attended continuing education courses with an emphasis on advanced manual techniques for spinal conditions, as well as for the shoulder and knee. She has a special interest in the treatment of vertigo and balance disorders as well as an eclectic approach to treatment of spinal pain and headaches. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association.
In addition to spending time with her husband and three daughters, Pam enjoys camping, gardening and thoroughbred horse racing. Pam sees patients at the New London location.
Andrew Taber, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Andy is a 1998 graduate from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, a 2002 graduate from the University of Wisconsin -Madison with a Master's in Physical Therapy and a 2012 graduate of Temple University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has also completed the advanced manual training and education in osteopathic manipulative medicine through Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine and has advanced training in cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal manipulation and dry needling through Evidence in Motion. Andy was board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2006 and as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) in 2005. Andy has a niche for orthopedics, sports medicine and management of spine pain. He is a member of the American and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Associations.
Andy is a very proud parent of two boys. In addition to his passion for physical therapy, he enjoys all sports (especially football), photography, traveling, fishing, hiking, backpacking, and camping.

Kris Tebo, PT, DPT
Kris graduated from the University of Tampa in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and sports medicine. She went on to graduate from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in 2006 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. In 2008 she earned her manual therapy certification and her therapeutic pain specialist certification in 2016. She has 12 years of experience and specializes in manual mobilization and manipulation of the spine and extremities, chronic pain, sports and work injuries. Outside of work Kris enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, and hunting. Kris sees patients at the Wellness Clinic APTSM location in Marinette.
Kaitlyn Smith, PT, DPT, LAT
Kaitlyn graduated from Clarke University, where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training in 2015 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. She enjoys working with all patients, special interests include women's health and spine care. She holds a certification in the use of Sole Supports gait-referenced casting. Kaitlyn is an APTA member along with a member of the Orthopedic and Women's Health sections.In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys running at local community events from 5k's to half marathons, playing basketball, softball, hiking, and trips to the family farm. She also enjoys supporting the community with various projects and activities. Kaitlyn works primarily at the Ripon and Fond Du Lac clinics.
Amanda Uting, PT, DPT
Amanda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2013. She enjoys working with patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions and vestibular disorders. Amanda also has a growing interest in working with patients during pregnancy and the postpartum period, as well as patient with pelvic health conditions. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association.In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, running, yoga, outdoor activities, and cheering on the Packers and Badgers. Amanda sees patients at the Appleton North clinic.
Tammy Vanevenhoven, PT, DPT, CHT
Tammy is a graduate from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse New York in 1993 receiving her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from Boston University in May 2012. Tammy is also a certified hand therapist and certified in lymphedema treatment. She has spent her 19 years of her physical therapy profession working in an outpatient orthopedic therapy setting. She enjoys working with an array of orthopedic injuries including those of the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, and spine. Tammy is a current long term member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1993. Prior to being a therapist she received her Associates degree as a registered nurse from Crouse Irving School of Nursing in 1989. Her background includes 5 years working on an orthopedic surgery unit for Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse New York. This experience allows her to bring a holistic approach to her therapy practice working with orthopedic patients. She also worked part time at various health clubs teaching aerobic step classes, spin classes on bikes and performing personal training establishing work out programs for clients. Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and is actively involved in their sports activities including coaching soccer for both her sons in her hometown of New London.
She enjoys exercise and fitness including weight lifting, walking, and participating in Zumba classes and is an avid cyclist. Tammy currently works in the New London office.
Briana Wasielewski, PTA, BS
Briana achieved her Bachelors in Exercise Science at UW Green Bay and has an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). As a PTA she works to rehabilitate outpatient clients at APTSM. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and teaches group fitness classes. Bri currently offers personal training to anyone wishing to improve their lifestyle and physical fitness. She does have a niche for working with clients with special physical considerations in a safe and effective way by combining her knowledge of rehabilitation with training.
Briana is a former swimmer and track heptathlon athlete at the college level at Minnesota State University and at UW Stevens Point. Before college she also enjoyed playing softball and speed skating. In her free time she enjoys staying active outdoors by hunting and fishing with her husband and family.
Currently Briana is practicing as a PTA, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor at the Shawano and Green Bay locations.
