Peg is a Registered Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist. She graduated from UW-Madison in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and received her certification as a hand therapist in 2004. She has specialized in treating the upper extremity for over 10 years and has also worked in industrial rehab. Peg has a strong working knowledge in the treatment of the upper extremity with use of therapeutic exercise, physical agent modalities, static and dynamic splinting, and ergonomics. Peg sees patients at the Appleton North location and also works in industry. Peggy has been involved at the state level of the Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Association serving as the NE district education coordinator and on the State Conference Committee. She and her husband have two boys and enjoy downhill skiing, triathlons and watching the boys play sports.
Fue Moua, OTR
Following an evidence-based approach and assessing the whole picture with each patient, Fue Moua specializes in Occupational Therapy. He regularly treats hand, upper extremity, sports and work-related injuries.
Fue earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and went on to complete his master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He belongs to the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Wisconsin Hand Therapy Association, and the American Society of Hand Therapists.
When he’s not working, Fue Enjoys spending time with his family. He is also an avid sports fan who likes to watch and play. His favorite teams to cheer on are the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and UMary Marauders.
Jen Nagel joined us after gaining over fifteen years of experience working in a post-operative orthopedic occupational therapy setting. She graduated from Mount Mary College in 1995, located in Wauwatosa, WI. She enjoys many facets that the clinical setting has to offer. This includes evaluating and treating a diverse age range of patients, with intricate and difficult hand patients being one of her personal favorites. When Jen is not working with her patients at the north Appleton clinic, she is quite busy raising her four kids with the help of her husband, Kurt. She She spends any available time left exercising and doing photography.
Sarah graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in May 2015 from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. She is one of the inaugural members of our Recovery Inn team. She loves helping people and is excited to continue to grow, help and learn with our beloved orthopedic patients. Outside of work Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends outdoors. She enjoys camping, being on the lake, and spending time at WIR.
Allison is an Appleton native and is happy to be providing therapy in the place that she calls home. Allie graduated from Appleton North High School. She studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and Certificate in Women's Studies in 2001. Allie practiced for several years in Chicago, and finally made her way back to the Valley. She has enjoyed working in long-term care, transitional inpatient rehab, and outpatient rehab. Special areas of interest are edema management and pain management, in which she now holds certification as a certified lymphedema therapist. When Allie is not at work, she and her husband are chasing after her three very active young sons. Her family lives on a hobby farm where they grow a huge garden and raise a coop full of chickens! Her family also loves to spend time up North, at the cottage.
Chad is a graduate from Fox Valley Technical College in December 2013 from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Chad’s focus is on industry working in work readiness programs, job site analysis, injury management all on site at each company. Chad also sees patients at the Appleton North location working directly with Peg and Jen with upper extremity injuries using therapeutic exercise, physical agent modalities and ergonomics in the office and offsite. When Chad is not at work he enjoys spending time with his fiancé and their three kids, playing sports such as golf, tennis, basketball, football and soccer.
Jen is a 2002 graduate from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and minor in Psychology. She received her board certification in hand therapy in 2010. Jen has spent the majority of her career treating outpatient orthopedic conditions and specializes in treatment of the upper extremity through a variety of interventions including therapeutic exercise, orthosis fabrication, education on joint protection techniques and activity modification. She has completed coursework for manual therapy treatment of the upper extremity through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine-US and is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT). Jen believes in a collaborative approach to care of her patients in order to assist them towards achieving their goals. She enjoys camping, hiking and traveling with her husband and two sons. Jen sees patients at our OSMS location in Green Bay, WI.
